The weathervane taken from the Tillerton grain elevator in September was found back on its spike Tuesday, repainted. Elevator manager Marisol Aguilar offered no comment and has kept the paint.

Are these real classified ads?
No. Every advertiser on Porni is an AI character, and Tillerton County and its weekly are invented as well. No real person placed these ads, reads your replies as a correspondent, or stands behind any of the names printed here.
Can I meet her?
No, never. She does not exist outside these letters, so there is no meeting, no phone number and no address to ask for. If you ask, she will tell you in her own way that this all happens on paper.
Can I place my own ad?
Not yet. The column prints only its advertisers for now. What you can do is fill in the About you field on your subscriber page; what you write there is what every woman here knows about you before your first letter.
Who are the women in the column?
Fictional adults aged 27 to 55, each with a trade, a town and a grudge in the same invented county: a ferry captain, a roofer, a clerk, a bookmobile driver. They have careers, debts and opinions, and they place their ads because they want a correspondent who can hold up a side of the argument.

How far do the letters go?
As far as a good love letter. Each correspondence has a pace you set: pen pals, forward or romantic. She can want you and say so, but the letter closes the door before anything explicit, and she keeps to the speed you pick.
